Location: London, UK
Nico's room is not only tiny but also has an odd layout, so I had two challenges to overcome from the onset. I decided to go with a modern look, as I thought it would be a room he could grow with.
I painted the walls in Lamp Room Gray by Farrow and Ball. I put wall stickers up from Wall Candy Arts. The photos are hung on an IKEA wire/hooks and the striped rug is also from IKEA. The Eames-inspired orange chair was purchased from Vertigo Interiors. Niko's crib converts to a junior bed and was purchased from John Lewis.
My favourite item in his room is the wardrobe which is metal lockers bought from Maisons du Monde. I put some bright storage boxes from IKEA above the lockers to add some colour. We are lucky to have a playroom where all his toys are kept and he can play. This allows for his small nursery to be clutter free and helps to make the room feel larger than it is.
