Name: Noa (4 months)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Color Inspiration: When planning my daughter's nursery I always knew that I wanted to use the same vintage CYRK poster that hung in my bedroom as a child. My parents bought it on the day I was born! We rent our apartment, so we couldn't paint the walls. I designed everything in the room to bring out the colors of the poster. It's hard to find baby items in orange and yellow, so I sewed all the textiles myself and made a lot of the artwork too. It was a DIY that lasted the full 9 months!

Tip for Using Color: Pick something you love and use it as a color palate for the room. If it looks great on your object, then it can make a great room too! But, don't be too strict. Your child will have lots of toys and books that won't "match". You want those to integrate well too.

Colors Used: Black, White, Orange, and Yellow. I love geometric black and white in a baby's room (and Noa loves it too!) and the yellow and orange were taken from the poster to make the room bright and cheery.

Thanks for your colorful entry Suan and good luck!
