Norah's Girly Grey Abode

My Room

Name: Norah
Location: Chicago, IL

I wanted to make a room that was peaceful and girly (but not too girly) and also doubled as a playroom. I chose grey because I felt like it was a neutral color that I could add other brighter colors to and make the room pop.

As a former teacher I had a ton of books and didn't want to put them in boxes, so I decided to use the beautiful art covers as wall art and display them. The grey was a perfect backdrop for all of the different colors from the books.

My inspiration? PINTEREST! There were so many wonderful ideas out there it was hard to choose just one. I really like the contrast with grey and adding bits of pink, so I took that inspiration as the blue print for her room and also the book display at Barnes and Noble. I always thought that would be a cool idea to have a mini library in a child's room!
