Art smart. If you happen to find yourself by the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station in the next week, we suggest you mosey on over to the Addison Street parking garage where you'll find the Addison Street Windows Gallery. We noticed this smart little show while waiting to meet a friend last week and we were pleasantly surprised by the current exhibit.
Our favorites from the show were the two prints by artist Margareta Bergman, The Road and The Way.
Margareta writes of her work, "Nature in the province of Varmland, Sweden, is always present in my work. There was a deep forest behind the house where I grew up that was a world of play and fantasy for my siblings and me."
The show is titled Nordic Mysteries and runs through Wednesday, November 28th.
The Addison Street Windows Gallery operates as part of Berkeley's Public Art Program.
