And now our wandering, curious peepers can span the globe thanks to the website, Normal Room, a site that invites a global community to send and share the place they call home. Images from all corners of the globe populate the site, with contributors located in Iraq, Finland, New Zealand, Russia and a myriad of other nations. Definitely safer than trying to sneak a glance through windows uninvited...not that we would do anything like that [whistling].
Can we confess a vice? I'm a peeping tom. Not in that creepy perverted neighbor sort of way. No...my snooping eyes love to peer through open doors, windows, around corners and into the spaces of other people's homes. I've got an instinctual reaction to want to know the layout and decor of friends' and strangers' homes; a deep fascination with personal decor and organization (and admittedly, a habit of almost automatically devising how to improve the rooms from a spatial and aesthetic perspective).
