What inspired you to use color? This was a TINY room on the bottom floor of our new home that needed to do double-duty as a guest bedroom and an office space. I was inspired by the Amy Butler fabric pattern I used on the stretch canvas, and I thought the green would be a soothing yet not sleepy color...
Color Tip: Paint color on the walls will ALWAYS be darker in pigment than you think it will. When in doubt, go one shade lighter.
Colors Used: The green on the wall behind the bed is Yolo Colorhouse Petal.02.

Why are all the pictures of the same room? I mean, it's lovely, but I got the idea after two pictures. Seeing more of your home would have been nice.
Boo. Blurry photos, one room, two colors. We're greedy people, we want to see MORE!
But it does look nice and very organized, I like that. :)
very nicely done. the colors are a bit low key for me but the room looks lovely.
what kinda mirror is that (and lamp)?
bad feng shui with the mirror there!
I like the color-grouped books. I'm too much of an "organize by topic" freak to do that, but I love the way it looks.
Hrrrmm.. really kind quiet on the color front here. You've got one color and not a lot of variety.
The mirror looks like this one from West Elm.
never been a fan of a mirror facing my bed
This room looks very nice. What about the rest of the house though?
I want that lamp! Where can I find it???
Never mind--I believe it's the one sold at Target. I'll be off to shop now.
it is soothing, but i'd like to see another area.
We only see one room. What is the color scheme of the whole house?
