To answer your questions the awesome blue shelf in the living room was a craigslist find. I wish I could claim to have made it but it was actually made by the grandfather of the girl who sold it to me. We really lucked out in finding it!
I spotted the owl painting at a local Goodwill. I nearly fell over some other shoppers trying to get to it! We share the same taste in paintings and cats, I guess! haha

I like the portraits on the wall and the bedroom with the large owl painting. Not sure how the baby blue and pink bathroom ties in with the color scheme of bright kitchen and bedroom.
