What inspired you to use color? We live in a rental, where we're not allowed to paint the walls! So we've brought color into our home through textiles and accessories, our artwork and that of our friends. We're drawn to colors that reflect the nature that surrounds us, and remind us of the ochres and terracottas of our home town, Rome. We want to come home and feel energized and welcomed by the colors we see.
Color Tip: Color can be fun, joyful, relaxing, inspiring. Choose the color to fit your mood!
Colors Used: mustard, terracotta, teal, deep reds, and lots of green

that picture makes me want espresso
With a view like that why bother with blinds, would love to see the photo redone, with the blinds up!
I love the women with bags art and want to curl up in that bowl of yarn. What a comfortable space.
What a great place - colorful, yet soothing. I love the couch - Ikea Kramfors?? It all works well together...
Where did you get the green side table with wheels?
Amazing view!
Love the place and especially the bowl of yarn.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments! Yes, our couch is an IKEA Kramfors - you may have noticed that much of the house is IKEA! But the cover is from Bemz, a Swedish company that makes covers for IKEA sofas and armchairs, in a huge range of colors. The green table is a LACK coffee table from IKEA, to which we added castors. Thanks again!
Great picture! The light is perfect!
You have done a beautiful and fantastic job!!!
Great job!!! Beautiful colors and perfect pictures!
Loved the bright color use, but with enough restraint so as to not overwhelm!
Beautiful home! How do you get your basil to grow so beautifully?
