• Cure Clock: 7.5 Weeks Remaining
• Assignment: Re-read pp. 52-69, clean and list repairs (details after the jump)

Here we are at the weekend of Week One, and we're guessing many of you will do the bulk of your floor cleaning in the next couple of days. Hopefully you've enjoyed a week with fresh flowers in your home, but if not, the weekend is a great time to check out your local farmers market for seasonal blooms. The trees are also beginning to turn color, so a hand-gathered arrangement of leaves can also be truly beautiful.
This weekend is also a good time to sit for ten minutes in a neglected part of your home, to get a new perspective on your place and how you use it. Or, if you've been inside a lot and could use a chance to get out, this week we're visiting our favorite home store for some early inspiration. The complete list of this week's assignments is after the jump (from now on we'll post it on Monday — small hiccup this week!).

Both Wig3000 and Danielle from AT:SF are getting rid of things they think are cute and cool, but the state of deterioration means their time has come.

It's great to have such an enthusiastic Northwest group!
Re: earth friendly cleaners, the new mag ShopSmart, which is affiliated with ConsumerReports, is recommending Green Works natural bathroom cleaner. I plan on giving that a whirl.
I'm excited. I've been wanting to do this for a long time.
