Why wallpaper when you can create fun and funky patterns on your walls with the click of a switch? The Sha-Do Lamp, designed by Peter Buning Fixtures, creates geometric shadow patterns on your ceilings and walls with its unique shade...

The projections are adjustable in size and direction and you can mix it up even more with a color tinted bulb. We love the instant ambiance it creates just by using the interplay of light and shade.
There are several different designs to choose from and it's a fun way to change the look of a space, especially for a festive gathering, without doing much at all.
If your German is better then ours, you might even be able to negotiate with the web shop and purchase one.

Along clear glass/ frosted to cast decorative shadows... anyone knows if these Ikea lamps will do the same, or close to... I find this weird spots a lot more fun than the more traditional tile-esque shadows.

Good news and bad news... The good news for all you non-German speakers is that if you click the "online kaufen" (buy online) button, it takes you to an English-language store. The bad news is that these babies cost â¬299,00 (about $475) BEFORE you have them ship this fragile thing to you from Germany :(
whoa. that is a lot of money. i like the idea, but that seems a tad excessive â¦
No, that seems about right for a nice piece. Unfortunately, the US/DM exchange rate makes it worse for us than it should be!
I think this has DIY potential. Maybe painting or etching a cylindrical ceiling light fixture, that sort of thing...
Figures... The Europeans always have the cool sh*t. Damned prudish Americans.
