I really LOVE the way this looks, but I can still SEE it. Somehow I doubt this shelving unit looks so beautiful everyday, as it does for the photo.

We have our toy bins/ shelves hidden in a closet, behind a curtain because it rarely looks as nice as I would like it to.

Pretty, but yeah my son would definitely have it all on the floor every day, he'd even use the horsey as a stool.

If I were the kid involved, I'd be pissed off to see toys out of my reach all the time. I'd be up and climbing those shelves in a hot minute.

Love the toy store feel. Those kids are beautiful.

It's uncluttered, nice to look at - and most importantly, keeps toys out where kids can see and want to play with them instead of having to dig through a pile in a box. Many kids would probably be trying to climb all over this, but discipline can be taught. Perhaps I am biased because I have a small set of cubbies, nowhere near as large as this unit, but it works for us. So much so that I wish it was larger, like this one! My 2 1/2 year-old actually puts things away sometimes and my 9-month-old loves to roll over and see what she can grab. I, too, rotate toys with others I have in another drawer-type storage unit that gets absolutely no attention from either of my kids. And yes, sometimes most of the toys/books are out, but we make it a point to put them all away most nights and certainly prod our older child to help.

I think this is adorable and a perfect solution for what looks like a small nook. Could someone explain why people focus so much on not seeing their children's toys? My daughter's toys are integrated (neatly) within our home and it is fine. She is part of our household so we expect to see her things, just like we see our own things. No judgement - just not understanding.

The shelving/wall colors are a little weird for me, but I love how beautifully organized everything is.
