Architectural Digest just profiled actor Hank Azaria's home in Bel Air and, of course, we honed right in on his son's playroom space. While we're really digging the large farmhouse table in lieu of a small child's table, our favorite feature is the numbers painted onto the storage baskets.
Whether the numbers denote an organization system remains to be seen, but you could certainly devise a system of your own. The plain baskets on their own would have been a little boring so we like this simple addition. You could also try letters or a simple graphic.
Speaking of simple graphics, if you're admiring the sparse apple print, it's Enzo Mari's iconic apple print (also seen in Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker's Hampton's kitchen).
You can see the rest of the home Hank Azaria shares with Katie Wright and their 2-year-old son Hal at Architectural Digest.

White Enamel Flatwa...
Cute, but I'd like it better if they were numbered sequentially instead of (as far as I can tell) randomly. I feel like everyone would be looking around for the boxes missing from the sequence.
I loooove the table. I like how the numbers add some interest to the baskets but I don't see how that would work as a system. What kid is going to keep track of what's in at least 18 baskets?
Anyone know a source for the apple print? love it!!
Nevermind! I reread the post and there it is! doh.
