We're suckers for polka dots. What's even cooler about these is that Jill and her husband hand-painted them rather than going the decal route. Taking their original inspiration from a children's boutique in Salt Lake City, they've created a colorful but serene room united by the polka dot palette.

The shelves, crib, rugs, chair, light, drapes, and closet storage are all from Ikea. Even better, Jill actually won the chair by being 9th in line at their Ikea grand opening.  The crib has Walmart sheets and Pottery Barn decorative pillows.

Jill cut butterfly shapes out of scrapbook paper and pinned them into place with colored sewing pins to create this lovely shadow box- a very doable project with a professional look.

The quilt is a pattern called "Hugs and Kisses" that Jill's mother had made. We love the burst of color and warmth that it adds. (Apparently, so does the dog who has made him or herself right at home on the bed)

Baby's very first pictures adorn the hooks behind the door. The sweaters hanging here were Jill's when she was a baby. Nice touch.

If she only knew the pretty room that was waiting for her, this little baby girl might not be able to wait until March 24th. Congratulations Jill!
