Dear AT,
I'd like to find some comfy dining chairs that soften the industrial edge to this dining table (see picture).
I'm looking for something a little funky and unexpected.
I am hoping the AT readers have some great suggestions.
Thanks! PhillyLass

i would do a really rustic worn wooden chair. It will bring it down to earth a little. Mixed with a crystal chandelier would be awesome.
where is the table from?
I say a chair like the following:

Classic, with a oval back or circle back to add some curve to your straight lines.
You could even do something "whimsical" like having all different chairs at the table within the same theme. (Like 6 different chairs, all white, or grey, or with a floral print..etc)
Something big and cushiony. ^_^ Something incredibly soft looking would be great with those tables lines.
It looks like a room and board parson's table with a glass top. They probably have some interesing ideas in their catalog spreads.
Thrift store mismatches, upholstered identically but with the frames painted different colors.
It would look fabulous.
I would to with the Folio chair from Crate and Barrel. It has the same parsons style lines yet is fully covered in stitched leather.
cblis, the table is from CB2 ( http://www.cb2.com/family.aspx?c=115&f=4629 )
If you want something funky and that would fit this style I would go on here. http://inmod.ecommerce-site-search.com/?vwcatalog=yhst-69328165909994&query=dining chairs&x=20&y=7
I suggest the Traffico chair.
