NY Good Questions: Cheaper Version of the Susanna Chair?

Another cheaper/other version request!

The Susanna chair from Zanotta is perfect for my studio apartment, but two thousand dollars seems a bit much, and that's without leather upholstery.

Clearly, it is very well styled, perfectly scaled, adjustable, etc., but I wonder if there is a cheaper version out there somewhere?

I would consider any chair with plush upholstery (not foam injected fabric) and thin arms.

I like Danish modern chairs, but the elegant ones are just as expensive.

I have a threshold of about $1300 for just about everything. I hope the AT shoppers can help! Thanks! Matthew

My two cents... Are you saying that if this chair was going for $1299 you would buy it? If so that doesnt really make much sense. I know because I had plenty of arbitrary prices for design/home decor items. I realized however its better to get something you love and that will last instead of the cheaper item that you may not love as much. So I have reevamped my arbitrary price points.

That being said you need to reevaluate your priorities ie studio living and design choices. But I am sure you could spend the money to find a Danish MCM chair on eBay or the like.

I just saw this chair at CB2. Quite comfy too.
