Hello AT, I am renting a NYC apartment that has horrendous peach/salmon tiling in the bathroom. What color paint do you suggest to funk up the room? Oh, and there is no window (obviously, gotta love NY) so I was thinking of a bright/light/cheery color. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Lesley

Dear Lesley, We're going to go out on a limb here and urge you to take a look at a bathroom that Mark posted yesterday: ColorTherapy: Burgundy. Here, Mark suggests trying a dark color to add drama and pop to otherwise boring spaces. Particularly if you don't have a window, a color like this will make a big difference. It will also totally distract you from the pink tiles. For a lighter color, we'd urge you to take a look through our Fall Color Contest Entries, and also to take a look at this color, which we love: Pirates Cove.
