Dear AT,
I found some nice, reasonably priced Mission furniture at Staples, of all places.
The set includes nesting side tables, a coffee table with a lift mechanism that brings the surface up to table/desk height, and a small desk/table that I've placed behind the couch in my living/dining room.
The only piece that I'm missing is seating for the table.
Since I'm trying to make the most of a small space, I'd like to purchase a bench with storage so that I can tuck it under the table when it's not in use and keep sheets and pillows for my sleeper sofa handy...

Ideally I would be able to place a cushion on top for comfort, but I'm open to suggestions.
Hopefully there's an AT reader who knows of a retailer online or in the mid-Atlantic that can help me out!
Thanks! William

The problem is going to be finding a bench at the right height to make it usuable as a desk 'chair'. Just something to keep in mind. Might be helpful to post the maximum width the bench could be, too.
Actually, that image shows the nesting side tables. You can see the table I bought on the Staples website, though. It's called the Mission Small Desk and the dimensions are 30-3/4"H x 44"W x 22"D. The color and style are the same as the side tables that are shown above.
How about some sort of padded storage ottoman?
Or you can get an old piano bench and refurb it. Not exactly a crazy amount of storage but it might look cool.
