Dear AT,
Is there anyplace where I can find a Fortuny-style pendant light for lots cheaper?
The authentic ones are in the thousands.
I'm not looking for hand painted silk fabric, just a nice fabric with or without a pattern in the fortuny style like the one pictured.
Thanks! Judy

Pottery Barn used to sell plain silk versions but that has been years ago.
This is the closest I've found so far:

Which is only slightly close to one of the other styles:

These are knock-offs, but still not cheap:

Been in love with this pendant for years & been looking for "affordable" versions. No luck so far. Pottery Barn had some very basic knock-offs of the Fortuny floor lamps, but none of these larger pendants. Please post locations if you find any.
I asked AT this exact question a few months ago. The only thing I've found is a knock-off at ABC for a few thousand. Ouch.
Either these fixtures are really difficult to knock off or Chinese manufacturers have not yet recognized a demand for reasonable alternatives to the very spendy originals. I've been looking for an affordable Scheherazade style overhead for years with no luck. I've come across the Scudo Saraceno style (like the one pictured) executed in tattooed goatskin in Moroccan import shops, but it's a bit too rustic for my decor.
