NY Good Questions: Where Can I Find Matching Pulls?

I just purchased this Dorothy Draper style chest and plan on restoring it.

I'm very excited about the project... only I can't seem to find the matching pulls.

Anywhere.

Can anyone help?

It would be a lot easier to buy 9 new pulls that are similar in style than try to match the remaining pulls...

I bought my pulls from Lowes. I even got pulls that were antiqued to look old. That's probably the best bet.

Actually, you seem to have the real thing, a Dorothy Draper chest for Heritage House ...

I had contacted Henredon for these pulls since they were the original manufacturer of this 'Espana' piece (with the Heritage name) and they no longer had any...Was hoping they might have had some in their inventory somewhere...
Another source to find some could be Liz's Hardware in LA - they will attempt to find matching pieces, or check with Lynette at The Knobbery (www.theknobbery.com) --they have access to a multitude of suitable replacements if the authentic ones can not be found.

This is not what you'd really want to do, but there are kits where you can make a rubber mold from something you have, and then pour some epoxy stuff in it, and create a new one. I did it with wooden ones, and then I faux-painted them to match the color of the wood of the rest of the piece.

It really all depends on how comitted you are to keeping and matching the existing pulls. I was dead-sure I was determined on mine, but the shape of mine made it pretty feasible.
