Dear AT,
Where can I get this beautiful wall treatment on top of the fireplace?
The caption says that it’s a composite plaster wall treatment that comes in paintable sheets of 32”x32”.
Do you know of any similar plastic or other type of sheets/panels that can be painted and adhered to a wall to get the same type of 3D effect?
Any ideas? Thanks! Tracy

Check out these wall slats from Inhabit.
inhabitliving.com has wall flats made of 100% molded bamboo paper pulp. plastic is highly toxic to the environment, ends up in landfill where it drifts to water sources, where it poisons water and can live 'forever.'

also, modular arts has gypsum panels--fire resistant, paintable [we like them in white, however], interesting. see their green statement on their materials page.
nice photo.

B N Industries also has panels similar to those in the picture.

I would get some tin ceiling tiles (the ones with cool oldschool patterns), attach them to a board and then paint the whole thing white.
Magnificent, there's wallpaper that mimics this look for less. It was used by Victorians who couldn't afford pricey plaster. You hang it, then paint it. Tracy, if you're interested, google "anaglypta."
These wall tiles from MIO are inexpensive and very cool as well:

Here's where I got the tiles for my ceiling, and they're made of polystyrene, and they're very paintable, and they're not all that expensive. I did a 12' x 20' ceiling for about $400.

And here's how they looked on my ceiling:

As you see on their site, they have several patterns, and some of them are rather modern.
I have used sheets of this material before, it was available in large sheets or custom size sheets for the same price. The material was a wood / mdf material and cut very well .
The finished look was great and our wall looks like a giant piece of wall art. www.cuttingedgedoors.com was the site I found it on after seeing pictures on facebook.
They have a page with some nice photos.
Hope it helps you,
ma
Depending on the thickness of the design detail, most likely a product like Intonachino, or Marmofloat if needs to be courser.
