NY Good Questions: Affordable Natural Wood Coffee Table?

I am looking for a coffee table for my living room.

Where can I find something similar to the one in this inspirational picture to the left.

I love the look of natural wood products, however, am having a hard time finding stores that sell those items for a cost I can afford.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Yelena

Doesn't look like it'd be that hard to make, or have someone make. Go to a lumber yard, talk to the folks there about the best kind of wood for such purposes and what tools (nails, etc) you'd need to secure them, and then call a carpenter?
