NY Good Questions: Who Makes This Stool/Ottoman?

I'm trying to track down this stool/ottoman to go with my Thonet rocker.

Any idea who makes it? I can't find it anywhere.

Any suggestions as to another stool to use with the rocker?

It's so low-slung, a footstool is pretty necessary.

i purchased an exact bentwood stool last summer at a Connecticut flea market for $40.....You might want to Google Thonet and find out where you can purchase reproductions. Most large flea markets always have a bentwood chair in various styles - and you might get lucky and score yourself a stool.

I almost bought this exact stool on ebay a week or so ago. I'm sure the auction has ended by now (or maybe not) but the seller was in Brooklyn! Check on ebay- maybe it's still around...

i saw one (had it bookmarked even, i love this design) on ebay last week...keep your eyes out there, it might come back up. it was from one of the brooklyn mod furniture dealers.

How large in diameter do you need your stool? I have two and would be willing to sell you one! It's laqured black but would refinish nicely. Contact me via my website if interested.
