Name: Various Talented Interior Designers
Location: Design on a Dime Benefit
Size: a 120 square foot temporary booth
Years lived in: 1 weekend
Rather than a tour through one house, today's post offers a voyeur's peek into 25 different "homes." Top interior designers from around the country were given the chance to design a room using furniture from the Housing Works warehouse....
It's a thrift store fantasy shopping spree, a clean slate, a short deadline all under a watchful eye. Behold the products of the designers' labors of love. Design on a Dime is Housing Works' annual benefit for people living with AIDS.
Get inspired, get jealous, take notes, be impressed! If these designers can create such greatness in a couple of months with a warehouse full of stuff people gave away, there is no stopping you from taking on the world ....or at least your dining room.

wooo.. those photos make me dizzy
Another slide show that won't run for me. Ads are too invasive also.
HOLY FOOK! And these people actually paid to go to school for this?
Argh, the ads are now overlapping both the post itself (a whole long strip of them is obscuring 75% of the post!) AND the photos in the slideshow...
My first reaction: "So bugly!!" Seriously....wow. My eyeballs are cursing me.
i kinda like the Real Simple room, but the others are....yikes!
Can AT try to take it easy on the ads? I'm finding it hard to enjoy the site with all of the giant Coke ads popping up all over the place... sorry, but it's true.
Yeah, the ads are making me want to go somewhere else too.
One more gigantic ad opening up and AT will go on the list of sites I no longer visit and be removed from my bookmarks.
I will miss AT but I have a rule, if ads open up and annoy me, that is not acceptable.
