Peaceful Seaside Home in Uruguay

Christelle finds beautiful European designed homes and shares them on one of our daily blog reads, Interiors. This beautiful house designed by Laura Ocampo is by the sea, in the countryside of Uruguay. We just love the shades of blues and whites that fill the space. Our favorite rooms in this house are the bedrooms. They look like the perfect place to rest after a day at the beach. We are so ready for summer!

"I wished to create a design in which the cool of the sea would be combined with the relaxed atmosphere of the countryside. It became a starting point for the creation of this interior" - Laura Ocampo

This illustrates how the light in different parts of the world really effect design. If I used red and white striped fabric in my house in Denver, it would look like a circus tent. Here it works and almost looks serene!
