Where did she go? Our first apartment in NYC was in Little Italy and Marre Moerel was our neighbor. Effortlessly stylish and highly trained as a designer in Holland, Marre had moved to NY from her home to join the design scene here. After doing work for Totem, creating the orignal vinyl "white room," and creating this classic line of ceramic lamps, she dissappeared from our view. We found her today listed as living in Madrid with her own design studio:

This new shop in the Malasana district, sells modern ceramic and glass vases, light fixtures and furniture. The Dutch designer, who recently moved to Madrid from Manhattan, has her workshop on the same premises.
