Liberty Island Cooktop by Alno

Cook at the table. The Liberty Island induction cooktop by Alno mounts on the end of your table. It folds down when not in use. Pop it up to use it and open its glass cover to function as a backsplash.

Like it! But I'd bet this isn't going to be available to the people who most need it: renters in small apartments with limited budgets. Great idea though.

Isn't that the Big Sur table, from Crate and Barrel?

the cooktop looks great, but as a parent of 2, there is no way I would want something that hot hanging off the end of a table....
