Though this was last month, these pics have been fighting to not get left on our harddrive.
Riding hard in the posse of rough and tough woody man-man style, BDDW had a stunning (huge) booth with their amazing designs and Lars Bolander had some similarly woody shapes designed for Central Station Original Interiors that people couldn't stop sitting in.

I like the bed, and I like the table - but the rest of that stuff would have my husband drooling. What is it about men and wood?
Wait...nevermind.
Wow I do like that sideboard! It looks like that fake-wood print that I've seen on contact paper and stuff like that. And the shape of that chair is really simple, but sophisticated. Thanks for posting these!
I love love BDDW. Unfortunately I was a little too intimidated to approach them espec after Maxwell got a brush off a few weeks ago. Lars Bolander was so nice, inviting me to sit on the petrified wood--I was told that that stuff is too heavy for any number of people to carry and that it would have to be transported by heavy machinery to the home of whoever buys it.
There's just something about $465,000 (or whatever) tables that doesn't sit right with me. I mean, sure, you're cute and you all seem to get profiled everywhere, but I'm not 100% idiot.
I now have no-where to live, there are terrible landslides, the erosion kinda sucks too and all my other animal friends are dying from lack of shelter and being exposed to predators but this is of no concern when I see the sumptuos designs (if anyone in there right mind would by it) at BBDW for a stereo console that sounds like I'm listening with a dozen or so Q-tips in each ear.
My old house/your new stereo? Puhleez humans!!
Interesting that macaq's can type, but good points. ;) I like the look of the two things I mentioned above, but it is important to use sustainably harvested woods from farmed forests, as opposed to rainforests that are being depleted faster than the price of oil is rising.
AT, Maxwell, what about a roundup of green design?
BDDW's site seems to reference their using "domestic hardwoods."
BDDW had an (unpictured) very squared off high table that would be drop-dead separating a kitchen form living area in a loft.
And while STUNNINGLY beautiful in person, these prices are in the "even if I could, I wouldn't" category for me.
I work for BDDW. A few comments about Amazonian's rolepaying adventure.
1)We only use domestic hardwoods.
2)An heirloom will never be thrown away.
3)New trees grow now for our grandchildren to cut and work.
P.S. I can't afford the furniture either
