Christine Rodin: Photographer

1-25-rodinfinal.jpg

There is a great deal of junk that comes in the mail these days, but every now and then there's something sweet that just rises up to the top.

Christine Rodin sent us a little card with one of her photographs on the front and no explanation. She didn't need one. These black and white still lives look as if they were taken with a full format camera and are atmospheric, simple and eye catching. They would be good in the kitchen, don't you think?

Pics can be seen at christinerodin.com and she can be reached at christine-rodin@earthlink.net and at 212-242-3260.

on a similar vein is Keith Carter, another excellent black and white photographer. http://www.keithcarterphotographs.com/

I've been to one of Christine Rodin's shows and bought a photograph of hers. Her work is beautiful and I love looking at the photograph of a single pear that I have framed in my apartment. It's an elegant piece of art and works so well in my newly renovated apartment.
