Minimiam

Small is Cool. If you really want to get into smallness, then these photographs by the French/Japanese duo of Akiko Ida and Pierre Javelle (aka Minimiam) will rock your world...

Combining a mastery of food photography with a love of comics and classic poses, Minimiam's subject matter cover the entire human condition in tiny doses. They have shown in Paris and contributed to many editorial pages in magazines.

They remind us very much of Audrey Heller's work in San Francisco. Go ahead, feast your eyes.

Here's another photographer who works with miniatures. She built the houses, then photographed them. (Side note: they're not small, but I love the pools.)
