Namaiki's Kinky Muff Land

"Working With Lettuces." We found this entertaining interview with the artists known as Namaiki at Ping Magazine. Creatively inspiring and full of fun photography, the article is worth sharing with ATers...Known for their silliness and us of bright colors, Namaiki (consisting of graphic designer David Duval Smith (NZ) and architect Michael Frank (UK)) have branched off into the world of plant-life installations with their latest project, Kinky Muff Land currently on exhibition in Osaka...

The artists built thin tables with surfaces near eye-level to allow visitors to easily gaze at the growing world.

In addition to a ton of photographs of the artists and their work, there is a great discussion of the artists creating "natural systems" that take care of themselves. Enjoy!

Yaay! I absolutely love PingMag, glad they're getting an AT link. Here's a permalink to the article:

There also seems to be a broken link tag somewhere in the article, FYI.
