International art powerhouse Gagosian Gallery is opening a new retail store next week that will sell publications, posters and lower priced artist editions related to the gallery's worldwide shows. Downstairs will house "Other Criteria" — the art house created by Damien Hirst and others that offers limited-edition books, posters, and accessories.

"Other Criteria" is based in London and the Madison Avenue store will be the first U.S. location. The Gagosian Gallery store will have a complete, publicly available archive of the gallery's publications. Shown above the jump are white glazed porcelain Puppy Vases (1998) by Jeff Koons. They will retail for $7,500 each plus shipping. Shown here is a photo of the the new Gagosian Gallery retail store, which is located at 988 Madison Avenue.

Anyone have information on the table in the first picture? Looks like a massive block of marble with honeycomb-like cutouts. Really cool!
