Shanafelt is a ceramic artist and is currently an Assistant Professor at Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota. His work combines found objects and clay to create unusual yet seemingly familiar forms.

Thanks for this post. Nice pieces. I'm currently taking a ceramics class and I love it. I've been searching for ceramic sites for inspiration. Also, I used to live in Ft. Wayne and I don't remember it being an artsy town. :)
