This is one of those great little finds that I like more for knowing less. Ancient Industries is an online store, founded by unknown individuals, which sells "traditional household goods and clothing," meaning those things that have been in production for "decades, centuries and millenia..."
Their stock is small (more please) and well curated, the result of collecting items found on their travels in Britain and Europe. They also have a sweet blog which gives you all the flavor and tells you how these people think. I'd love to do a house tour of their home/s.
If you live in the northeast, Ancient Industries is having a holiday sale in NYC on Friday and in Connecticut on Saturday. Check it all out.
