Here is a color mashup. Last week, the NYTimes came out with their lead Home story for the week about Casa de Colores, Richard Schultz and Anado McLauchlin's home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. How perfect! I thought. A great color story during our Fall Colors month. It is, indeed, a moving tale of going against the grain and carving out your own colorful life.... I highlight a few pictures and steer you to check out the rest in the NYTimes slideshow...

Meanwhile, it all made me think of another man who surrounded himself with color and carved his own path: Monet. I've visited Monet's Giverny two times in my life and heartily recommend it. Here below are the best links I could find to give you a taste of his remarkable home. Be warned, that the French are scrupulous about allowing photographs inside his home, so the best thing to do is to go there. ;-)
Enjoy!
