This is crazy for me to do, but I want to do it anyway. I saw these chairs this past weekend. They are totally amazing and should be scooped up right away...

Totally oak.
Padded seat.
Light frame.
Really comfortable.
Solid.
$205.

On asking, I heard that they are new manufacture, but they sure look vintage. The shop says they have plenty of them. I hope that wherever they're coming from can make many more.

Those are cool. Like the bolts and x-back.

like everything but the padded seat. too casual and new (not vintage) looking - makes me feel like they would be best outdoors.

Looks like they're from Restoration Hardware. http://www.restorationhardware.com/rh/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod1605030&navCount=2

Very similar ones (with non-padded cane seats and a nicer finish, I think) can be found at Wisteria. :

They are very comfortable and that asks a lot from a chair that size; if you're out in the Hamptons go check them and try them on. Comfort, stock and a nice price.
ps.they're not from Restoration Hardware.
:)
nice pics btw
