I found Susan Vecsey by spotting her card next to the cash register at a liquor store last weekend. Amid the clutter of modern life, I found her small, cloudy landscapes comforting, inspiring and beautiful...

 
 

One part Milton Avery, one part Rothko, I can easily see these adding a unique grace to an interior. Based in NY and the Hamptons, Susan is a painter and a photographer and "has been working in abstract and semi-abstract painting styles since 1995." She's really got something here. Check her out.
