I found it! After taking numerous pics of these stunning tiles at Intelligensia Coffee in Los Angeles, I found their name, source and an interesting fact - they are made of tinted cement, not ceramic, and the process is an old one, developed in France in the mid-1800's. To say tile isn't made of tile is - um - dumb.
