Today I want to go back to Italy and share some more pics from our vacation. The focus is two restaurants that were really good and also had awesome decor in and around them. The first one is in Siena (beautiful but crowded city), and the other is in Pienza (not crowded, beautiful and absolutely my favorite place we visited). I recommend them both for food and decorative inspiration...
>> Osteria le Logge - Siena
This restaurant was remarkable because of the wood cabinets around the room and the bold tile floor. We thought it might have been a pharmacy at one point, and it made me rethink my ideas about dining rooms. Books and wood and cabinets are very cozy!

>> Latte di Luna- Pienza
This restaurant had some of the best food we ate, and I loved how they created this seamlessly shady outdoor space by clipping together market umbrellas. In addition, this was flower pots city! The restaurant and all the streets surrounding were surrounded by amazing flower pots. The restaurant even is using them here to make their outdoor room. As you can see, the greenery fills the streets and there's no fear of anyone stealing your flowers!

Italian design has a very neighborly, welcoming feel to it. It's elegant, and grand, especially for those of us who work with modern design styles everyday.

I love Siena. I was lucky to live there for a month.

LOL! When I've seen first pic I've thought "Whoa! This place is so similar to the restaurant where I went when I attended Uni lessons!"
I'm astounded, it really is! :)
Welcome in Tuscany :)
