apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

AT Europe: London - Ann Stokes Pottery at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery

annstokes1.jpgI stopped by for tea at a friend's house in Notting Hill last weekend, and he pulled out these spotted teacups made by 83-year-old potter Ann Stokes...

annstokes2.jpgAnn Stokes has been a potter for more than 40 years, and her work is held by the Victoria & Albert Museum and featured in the open kitchen of the new Rebecca Hossack Gallery on Conway Street pictured below. She lives half in London and half in Tuscany, which has greatly influenced her animal-inspired creations, which include mirrors, lights, tableware, sculpture, and more. Teacups are available through the gallery and she also does commissions.
