It was a Saturday, and the tourists and crowds of the Portobello Road market were nowhere to be found, just a great few blocks of boutiques with plenty of options for him and a bit of inspirational window-shopping for me. It's a bit like Golborne Road but with a more single-minded antiques focus, and a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Here's a list of our favorite shops on the street:
Artefact, 273 Lillie Road London SW67LL
269 Antiques, 269 Lillie Road
A&L Antiques, 284 Lillie Road
Frank Evans, 271 Lillie Road
Stephen Sprake, 283 Lillie Road
Nimmo & Spooner, 277 Lillie Road

On this oddly rainy day in Los Angeles, reading this post puts me right back into my old flat on Westbourne Park Road. Some of my best memories. Enjoy your new neighborhood!

If the "clock" mirror in the first photo is an antique, then by coincidence a favorite bar of mine in Ottawa, Ontario has the same exact one!
