AT Europe: Paris - Clustered Lighting at Maison & Objet

After several seasons worth of clustered lanterns, at the Salon Maison & Objet, it was grouped light fixtures that kept showing up, demonstrating the strength in numbers when making a design statement...

The light fixture above from Belgian company Materialise was just one of many. Like these from UK company Original BTC:

Transparent hanging balls from Bocci, below, floated like glass bubbles.

The colored lights from Bob Design below looked like a cluster of illuminated bottles.

And the sea creature-like lights from Italian company Melogranoblu below were anything but neutral.

we are currently looking for lights for above our bar.. anyone have any good ideas for not so much cheap but 'less expensive' options.. i do all of these but would imagine them to all be extremely expensive.. we have 6 lights in total to replace.. not that we need all 6 but it is a very long bad (nearly 20 ft) thanks everyone!

Here are a few lamps. Inexpensive Le Klint knock offs can be purchased off of ebay for fairly cheap. But if you look hard enough on craigslist or ebay you can find vintage pieces for close to the same price.

thanks for the reply comicgeek... i was on ebay all morning and came accross all of thoes.. right now we are thinking about the garland light from tord boontje (more andreas fav) and i am liking puddle pendant from CB2.. both in our price range.. but there are so many beautiful pendants out there.. just with huge price tags.. it is almost the more simplistic they get the more expensive they get.. maybe there is a market out there for affordable and simple design pendant lighting.. haha.. sounds easy right? thanks for the reply
