AT Europe: Paris - Little French Kitchens

petitecuisine1.jpgWhen apartment dwellers on a budget think about installing a kitchen, they usually head to IKEA. But French site CoteMaison.fr features other inexpensive kitchen suppliers in France, including a few options for the space-challenged, like this Dolcéa "cuisine d'aujourd'hui" from Castorama starting at 499 euros with an integrated dining table.

How in the heck is the first kitchen almost 50% LESS than the second kitchen? IMO, the first one is vastly superior.

I think the ikea kitchens are better. These look a bit too dorm-y for me.

My dream kitchen would have no built in cabinets at all, but an antique hoosier cabinet, long butcher-block table for a countertop, and a big farmhouse sink. Ahh...beautiful.
