French Shelter Mags Jump On House Tours Bandwagon

These photos are from Chez Annick in Nice, part of Marie Claire Maison's new Bienvenue Chez Vous feature, with photos of readers homes and gardens. Elle Décoration has gotten into the act with Vos Maisons. And Côté Maison has just launched Visite Privée.
The truth is that most of these homes aren't as inspiring as the showpieces found in the magazines themselves. But for those of you who are curious about seeing the inside of house-proud but everyday French people's homes, there's plenty to look at.
