This Week's Assignment: In the Deep Treatment you are diving headfirst into the bedroom, working to declutter and luxurify your space. I do recommend an air purifier and use them ourselves in both of our rooms. While it may seem to some like an indulgence, keep in mind that indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air and that 8 hours of breathing while asleep means you are sucking in a good deal of the room at night.
One Room Workout? Start Cleaning up! Clean up is as important as set up and it usually takes longer than you think, so start in on it now. Additionally, take a close look at your artwork this week. I always find that people do a disservice to their art by hanging it either too high or in an unflattering grouping. Fixing this can really make a room sing.

GENERAL INFO ---------------------------------------------
The Fall Cure is live again in all four of our Home city sites. The Cure posts will go up twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, allowing for plenty of comment space. We will be pulling comments and pics to the front page post on each of these days and everyone is urged to take pics and post them here.
REMEMBER: The goal is to use the group to support, inspire and answer questions as you go. The more you participate, the more you will get out of it. But you may also lurk if you are shy ;-).

I wish I could answer all of the above. I hate my bedroom! moved in five months ago and bought a steel bed, and steel bedside tables. Not to mention a collection of too many colors in my tiny white box of a room has me going crazy! It is totally uncomfortable and I over did it with the color. I want to sell everything and start over. In fact, I might do just that! I have moved the bed four times and nothing seems to be right....

my biggest challenge is the space! my bedroom is so small, sometimes I go insane, I feel so cramped up I just wanna get out!
I try to have ass less stuff and furniture as I can, but sometimes I just feel like there's not enough space. I wish I could trade rooms with my parents :(

Clothing storage! Agh! Two women with a lot of clothes and very little self control when it comes to buying them... We have a (large) wall-to-wall closet - loaded - and two dressers (hi-boy and low-boy), and a we still struggle. This isn't even factoring in the shoe issue... We've purged several times and can't seem to weed it out any further; the only solution seems to be a bigger room, or a house where the clothes have a room of their own!

I barely have any space between the end of my bed and the wall, without even mentioning the complete lack of wardrobe storage. I really should have bought a bed with storage underneath! *slaps forehead*

I desperately need a new mattress. Mine is 15 years old. Although I did add a new foam piece to it, but that was already probably 6 years ago

We're quite happy with our tiny bedroom now that it has been Cured. We keep it visually pleasing, make it feel as as spacious as possible (with not much stuff in there), and sleep on a very comfortable mattress!

My bedroom is tiny and has to double as my library, which is cool because being around books relaxes me, however, the ten foot closet on one wall has an 18 inch door in the very center and NO other access!! It is completely useless for storing clothes so I use it for seasonal clothing, coats and storage of things like my Christmas tree and suitcases. So where are my clothes? Hanging out in the open in a closet system I set up along the opposite wall. YUK! For someone who likes clean and no clutter this is so visually displeasing that I tense up everytime I go in there. I have the material to hang a curtain which will help some, but then it will block out all the natural light from the window.....sigh. Oh, well, at least it will be "Cure-clean" and tidy.

I love my bedroom, but not having enough room to store all my clothes is a huge problem, even though I've purged three times as many clothes as most people own this year. In the summer, it isn't bad because my winter clothes are in storage. Buuut, I still use most of my summer clothes in the winter, so they compete for space four or five months a year.
