Vintage finds abound at City Foundry. So much is packed into this space on Atlantic Avenue that it's difficult to take it all in, let alone navigate through the narrow walkways carved out of treasures-to-be. That is actually the draw to the place - the feeling that you will never see it all and your next great find is right around the corner.

There are lots of refurbished metal pharmacy cabinets stripped down to bare metal, vintage light fixtures, objects like old lab glass. One interesting item that stood out on a recent visit was an oak rolling library ladder.

The prices lean toward a bit high. A new annex, located down the street, is less crowded and seems to be more selective about what's on display. W-Sun 12-7. - Regina
