Don't squeeze the Firefox... Always on the tip to declutter and explode crappy product, we want to put in a shout out for Firefox.
If you don't know what it is, Firefox is an open source internet browser (that replaces Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE)). It is easy, quick and FREE to download and it will help keep your computer free of popups, adware and spyware.
It imports all your bookmarks and has TABBED browsing, which is absolutely essential (once you use tabs, you will never go back). Best of all, you will be helping to kick the legs out from under the goliath of Microsoft.
We use the heavier version of Firefox, called Mozilla, and both are excellent. If you currently use IE, stop today and use this instead. MGR
I work for a internet design company, and this seems to be the favorite around here.
I switched from Mozilla to Firefox (made by the same people), and I actually like Mozilla better. Same tabbed browsing, but the searching is easier and its a little bit more stable and cooperative.
Now if I could just ditch Windows entirely...
