IKEA Song by Jonathan Coulton

6-25-ikea-song.jpg
Have you heard the IKEA Song by Jonathan Coulton? It gave us a chuckle in the office this morning:

"I’m sorry I said Ikea sucks — I just bought a table for 60 bucks"

A video after the jump...

Brooklyn-based musician and singer-songwriter, Jonathan Coulton's IKEA song has inspired a YouTube mash-up video (above) and even more enthusiasm for meatballs. Check out the lyrics, guitar tabs, or download an MP3 from Jonathan's site.

My girlfriend and I sign this song for a week before going to Ikea, and a week after, and show it to everyone we know.

Just some oak and some pine and a hand full of Norsemen...

Yes this one is really funny, as are so many of his other songs. I went to one of his concerts at Symphony Space this year and it was fantastic!

That was a very nice commercial for Ikea. I hope he got a few tables and chairs for his efforts.
