TV muzzle. The second best thing that we have seen for a television in two days. The Groove Tube was found at Velocity Art & Design and it will either make your party sizzle or remind you of those apartments out the back window with the television light glowing on the walls late at night.
It is "is simply a translucent plastic box that suction cups to the screen of your television. It has a grid of dividers inside it that diffuse the colors from your T.V. producing an amazing colorful abstraction of anything you watch." Available from Velocity for $30-$50, depending on the size of your tube. MGR

Bought one last week and just installed it last night with a lick, stick, and click (of the remote). Awesome. Like giant dancing color pixels. I hadn't had my TV on in weeks - now it's going to be on all the time, muted. Also came with a compilation CD of decent electronica from Slabco Records.

Hey, AT, they sell these at that little designer's store at the corner of Berry and N. 6th in Brooklyn. You might know that, but your ref pointed to a place in Seattle.
Keep up the good work.

The first one of these I saw was a design by Massimo Vignelli, sometime back in the 1970s. Smaller gridsize, but same principle.
