Living in New York city, we're all too aware that people can see in to our apartment. We've developed a new appreciation for Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 movie Rear Window, in which an injured photographer learns his neighbors secrets by watching them from his Greenwich Village apartment. We recently visited the fantastic multimedia exhibition "Bauhaus: 1919-1938: Workshops for Modernity" at The Museum of Modern Art. The Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England just updated its website to feature over one million items in the collection. The museum has an amazing treasure collection of ceramics, furniture, and artwork. You can now tour much of the collection online — items both on view in museums and in storage are featured on the website.

Designed by architect Alla Kazovsky, the A-Desk is made of lightweight aluminum with a brushed finish and can be used as a console or occasional table — and the addition of casters makes it easy to move around for multiple functions.
