(Note: This final round is being voted on by our four in-house judges, but comments are always welcome.)

Name: Turquoise
Original Entry " Turquoise' Only Painting"
Location: Venice, CA
Website: Turquoise-LA.com

All Eastern Entries: link Here

Who was your favorite contestant from the contest?:

I would have to say that my favorite art work would be the Priya #4. I really liked the combo of glam meets graphic design. Not only was this contest about art but how you displayed your art within the interior design of your home. The bedroom was clean and modern. And even though the art was busy, it did not distract from the calmness of the bedroom.

200 Words from LA: What Brad and Angelina Store Their China In

flux.jpgThis hutch was mistakenly shown in the LA HOME ROUND-UP last week, but it is so pretty that it we thought it warranted a little investigation.

Turns out that it is from an EBay type site called 1stdibs.com.
"If you want to shop antiques from home, set an alarm for 8 a.m. Wednesdays — when 500 new items appear."

The Paul Frankl cabinet, from Modern One of Los Angeles, boasts more than mid-century lines: It is currently shown in the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith so it's really worth the $12,500 it's listed for. If money is no objet d'art the site is really worth checking out. AH

Hot Sale in Hollywood

2005-7-pillow.jpg
GOT A TIP about a huge sale (that started yesterday, so don't dilly-dally) at a store called Not Neutral on Melrose Avenue here in Hollywood. 2005-7-cups.jpg

While I've never been to this self proclaimed gallery/retail space, the products on the website look pretty cool, and there’s never anything wrong with 50 percent off.

2005-7-bowl.jpgI'm not sure if the sale items on the website include any of my favorite things. Lots of pieces like these white bowls (set of 12 for $30) which I do think are lovely, but what about the melamine?! (Thanks Enrique!)
